Donald Trump and his equally corrupt and dishonest administration members have been lying to the American people to cover their own asses and hide what is actually happening at the southern border.
Over the last several days, Trump and his team have made headlines for the disgusting treatment of migrant families, as children are being ripped away from their parents and being held in detention centers. The Trump administration has insisted that these children are being given the most humane treatment possible, but the truth is coming out. CBS News has interviewed the children in these detention centers, and their candid interviews paint a very different picture.
CBS News host Gayle King spoke to a few children in the centers after Trump’s inhumane “no tolerance” policy forced immigrant families to be torn apart. During the interview, she asked a teenager named Reynaldo, “Were you treated very well, were you afraid there?”
Working with a translator, Reynaldo responded:
“I was very scared. At midnight they wake you up to count everyone in the cells.”
The children also said that they were going hungry. King noted that multiple children were starving when she said:
“Reynaldo also told us that he did not get enough to eat. He said he was fed apples and water — and neither did other people.”

The lies of Trump and his administration are being blown up and they deserve it. While all of this is happening, Trump refuses to acknowledge that he has all the power to single-handedly reverse these human rights violations. Instead, the president has chosen to blame the Democrats, even though no one believes him. The horrors of what these families are going through will not be forgotten, and it’s going to cost the GOP in the election.
